Monumental Inlaid French Bronze Mounted Louis XVI Cylinder Desk Circa 1900

Let me make this very clear, this desk is a BEAST to move. The desk has a grand piano-like presence to it and is absolutely magnificent in terms of the quality of teh bronze ormolu which is super-crisp and everywhere! The piece has remarkable boxwood inlay and a gorgeous original finish and pull out leather writing surface and two pull out trays on each side for additional surface area. The desk has a few minor issues including a pull that is included and needs to be re-attached and a minor area of veneer missing which we can professionally massage away so you won’t see it at all. The desk measures 65 wide x 31 deep x 46 tall and the writing surface is 32 inches tall.
