Majestic French Louis XV Gilded Mirror Marble Top Console Credenza, Circa 1890
This is a special set mated together throughout history. The mirror and the base came together and were always used together in the estate they came from in the estate they came from in Hyde Park, New York. The mirror measures 72.5 tall x 31 wide and the console base measures 47 wide x 38 inches tall x 19 inches deep. They each have the appropriate amount of wear 150 years provides and an equal amount of time-worn character to the gilded surfaces and wood components. The table top is a wonderful gray and white marble and the mirrored doors add a lot of brightness to the set. The mirrored carvings are noticably worn and the top section has delamination from the frame. The set may cost more than the shipping cost that’s stated because we are selling as a set.
