French Empire Style Ebonized Giltwood Carved Dolphins Settee Circa 1950

This is an outrageously beautiful French Empire settee. The settee is done in black lacquer and the carving is done in genuine gold leaf and absolutely luminous and bright. This is a statement piece, a true focal point for the middle of a roon. The carving quality is breathtaking and the finish and design on par with Jansen or any other famous designer. The settee measures 49 wide x 26 deep x 37 tall and has an 18 inch seat height. The piece dates to the 1950s.
